Telly star Asha Sarath will now be seen on the big screen. Filmmaker Major Ravi has roped in the TV artiste for a major role in his next venture Karmayodha.
This is her second project after Lijin Jose’s Friday, which is slated for release on August 18.
A mother of a teenaged girl, the Kumkumapoovu fame Asha will don a corporate look in the film. Unlike his films, which usually have a military backdrop, Karmayodha will be an investigative thriller in which superstar Mohanlal will essay the role of an investigative officer.
Producer by Haneef Mohammed under the banner of MR Productions, the shoot will begin from August 18 in Mumbai.
