Mollywood has come up with yet another romance movie, Swaasam. But this time, it’s said to be different as it comes with a social message. Harilal Gandhi, Young Ad Filmmaker, has made his directorial debut with the movie ‘Swaasam’.
“This is a 100% love story. It revolves around a young chain smoker, who discovers he has cancer on the eve of Valentine’s Day,” explains Harilal.
The movie puts forward the minuses and tries conveying a message to people against smoking.
“Generally, every youngster feels that he is not man enough if he does not smoke! Apparently, you feel superior and strong, and it’s considered cool. I want to tell them, that’s not so,” said the director.
The Swaasam movie is a Low Budget Movie, which has been shot at brilliantly at different locations. With the story, screenplay and dialogs from Harilal Gandhi, the work done by Cameraman Prashant is excellent, which present the movie in just the right manner.
It’s a Low Budget Malayalam Movie, yet every aspect of the movie has been immensely taken care of to bring the out the best of it. The actors have given out their best and played their roles suitably as young couple. The other characters in the movie have added up the right spice to make the movie curry excellent in taste.
After making several Brilliant Ad Films, Harilal Gandhi has employed his expertise as director and has come up with an admirable output love story movie.
The main cast comprises of Jinu Azeez, Jyothi Pillai, Jaffer ldukki, Niyas (Kshanakkathu), Kalabhavan Rahman, Dr. Padmanabhan, KTS Padannayil, Rajeswari Antharjanam, Baby Halbi, Baby Aiswarya, etc. The excellent Music has been given the marvelous Kannan Bhai for the suited lines penned by lyricist Vinukrishnan. To add further melody to the beautiful songs, the singers Sreenivas, Devanand, K G Marcose, Manjari, Gayatri Asokan and Rimi Tomy have given their vocal chords. Moreover, the Cinematography by Prasanth Chandrabose and Art by Dani Muziris have completed and added perfection to the movie.
