The Mammootty starrer ‘Thappaana’ has emerged as the dark horse among the Ramzan releases. The film which opened 80 theatres was declared an instant hit, as the growing mouth publicity will ensure the safe run of the film for another couple of weeks in major centers.
Director Johny Anthony and Script writer Sindhuraj have contributed equally to the success of this film which is sure to gather more momentum in the coming weeks.
According the Galaxy Films, ‘Thappana’ has grossed near 2.69 crore in 5 days by 80 theater of kerala.The film may go well with the family and youth audiences as it offers much for them. The normal budget film with a good star cast and different songs is expected to big hit, if supported with good marketing.
