Universal star Kamalhassan, while attending a public function recently, has earlier expressed his interest to be back to Malayalam with an important role. Now that the businessman turned film producer Gokulam Gopalan, has come-up with a meaty historical asking for Kamal’s dates, the versatile genius couldn’t say no to the offer. And so it is finalised.
Kamal Haasan will play the lead role in the new historical movie about Tipu Sultan and Unniarcha, which has already started its production activities.’Unniarcha’ the warier princess from ‘Vadakkan pattukal’ is now researched to be a contemporary to Tipu Sultan.
John Paul will script the movie while Vayalar Madhavan Kutty will call the shots. According to Gokulam Gopalan, they are trying to start the production by the end of this year.
