Shaji N Karun will shoot for his next movie with superstar Mohanlal as the hero. This will project based on famous short story writer T Padmanabhan’s much acclaimed work ‘Kadal’.
The project was in discussions for a long time but didn’t materialize due to some reasons and in the mean time Shaji launched his movie ‘Kuttyshranku’ with Mammootty.
Shaji N Karun was a known cinematographer who associated himself with directors like G Aravindan, K G George and Hariharan before he started working as a director. The world renowned director hit big time with ‘Piravi’, his debut film which won maximum awards in every festivals around the world.
His later films like ‘Swaham’, ‘Vanaprastham’ and ‘Nishanth’ were also critically acclaimed works. Shaji will complete his works on ‘Kuttyshranku’ by the first week of November and will start this new project with Lal only by the mid of 2009.
