This award is been awarded in the memory of the legendary Malayalam actor Sathyan. He shined as a superstar until his last breath and is still living, because of his popularity!
Innocent, who is also the president of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes, said that he was honored to have been chosen for the award because he had idolized Sathyan since childhood.
