In the film, Dileep is working out a different combination, presenting Mallika Sukumaran for the first time as his screen mother.
The noted actress, who is the mother of young stars Indrajith and Prithviraj, had been always in the news working out for promoting her sons on media, especially Prithviraj.
Dileep is said to have a little animosity against the young star, and their fans associations are often accused to create pandemonium and propagate fowl stories on each other’s films, during the initial days of release.
